Turning 30 in 7

{Growing old is a question of mind over matter. Provided you don’t mind it really doesn’t matter.}

I’ve got 7 weeks left in my 20′s!!! I can’t believe it, but am already saying I’m 30 – does that make me strange?

So I really want to do something fun for my 30th since it’s been a while since I’ve had a party.

What ideas do you have? What will you do when you turn 30? What did you do? I want to know!

That is so funny. I was getting on the internet to blog about turning 30 in one month when I saw this post of yours. I haven’t decided yet what I want to do on my birthday but I’d like to take the day off for whatever reason. I’m thinking something BIG like a huge party or something. Let me know if you come up with any great ideas for your own. It’s a big deal!

I heard of someone who had 30 days of celebration when she turned 30. She did different things each day for a month, culminating on her birthday with a big party. She did things like go bowling, roller skating, eating out at different ethnic restaurants, watching the sun set, etc. I think that would be a good way to ring in the next 10 years. Happy early birthday, Steph!

The big “30″ … that’s cute! Do something physical while you can!
Don’t blink or you’ll be looking down the barrel of the big “50″ and then you’ll really think …can I take a nap NOW…how about now … mabey, ahh, well, Now … OK NOW!
Have fun!

In the couple months before my 30th, I went to the NKOTB concert with my very bestest friend named Steph – Woo Hoo!!! Then I went to the House of Blues with my good friend Andie and some of her childhood friends – not as good as the NKOTB concert but interesting none-the-less. It just wasn’t my type of music. Then I had a small gathering at my house on the actual weekend. It was a great way to tie up my 20s and welcome in the best decade. Mom always said her 30s were her favorite so I say embrace it!!! Love ya Steph!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY WOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

I prefer to say 30-licious. It made turning 30 a lot easier to swallow. Plus it just sounds fun! :) Enjoy every second of it!

I always thought it would be fun to rent a limo (just because) and have a progressive dinner with close friends at different restaraunts all around town. (Ex: drinks/appetizers at one place, main dish at another and finish it off with dessert at a third restaurant.Chatting and mingling in the limo in between each place. Not sure how much it costs to rent a limo for an evening though-could be a little pricey but doesn’t that sound like fun?
