Finally!
Here I am, finally blogging again! I have kept up to date with my fellow bloggers and have loved the updates and pictures of everyone. I love knowing what’s going on with everyone even if I don’t talk to you often (does that make me a bad friend? I hope not!)
If it weren’t for Tony & Greta’s awesome hospitality, I’d be forced to visit our library to check our email! So finally….I blog again.
It’s been about a month since I’ve last blogged, and not too much has changed, but I’ll give an update nonetheless.
I have started saying “Did you find everything ok?” or “Thanks and have a great day!” a lot lately, mostly because I have become a cashier for
So far so good! I’m going into my 2nd week and so far everyone has been really friendly. Yup, I’m a part time cashier at Target! I got it for 2 reasons. 1. I don’t have a full time job yet. 2. Hopefully by me having this job, James won’t have to find one and can continue focusing on school. However, I come home EXHAUSTED and I only work 5 hr shifts. So we’ll see how long it lasts, but I do love thet clicking and hitting “total” on the cash register. Is that wierd? So far, I’ve written down the hair products I use, and repeated our return policy to very determined customers to return something they just happen to notice their item was broken…All in all it’s fun and is keeping me busy.
On the full time job front there is two possibilities…one of which I will be spending 8 hrs with several different people and two different locations being interviewed by…YIKES!
On the school front, James is doing very well! He has 4 weeks left of his first semester! Talk about time flying!
We’ve already been to Cleveland once, my mom threw out her back so we went up to help out. She’s doing better, but sometimes she’s stubborn and doesn’t listen to Dr.’s orders when he says to DO NOTHING (mom I hope you’re reading this!) We also just came back from Michigan to visit the rest of the Woolf’s…I’ll blog about that at a later time!
On the quest for losing weight front…I have joined
Go ahead and think of the 80’s image of middle-aged women in a catholic church’s hall bouncing to the Flash Dance soundtrack…but this class is awesome! It’s really a cardio class that has awesome music and finally something I enjoy doing. Since I failed at my most recent attempt in the last boot camp class I attended, I am CONFIDENT I can do this. I know of a few summer weddings one of which I will most likely be a bridesmaid…and I CANNOT be the fat funny one. So on goes my quest for more a svelte stephanie…even if it’s only a 30lbs thinner version of me.
