11 Months and counting…

October 3rd, 2007

sunday best Today marks our 11 month as a married couple!  Let’s pretend the above picture was taken exactly 11 months ago!  It’s crazy to think how fast this year has gone, and all we’ve experienced together as a little family. Jobs, trips, endless memories, sorrow, joy, laughter, and a few little “tiffs” if you will. :) I can giddily say I am more in love with Mr. Woolf than I was 11 months ago. James has taught me to have patience and to be humble in everything I do. I’m pretty sure I haven’t mastered those yet, but I think I have a few more years with him to be a better student. :) I am happy to report I have taught him that shoes DO make the outfit - and no, black does NOT look good with everything (i.e. white basketball shorts with a brown shirt). I’m pretty sure that he’s also taught me that it’s ok not to buy something EVERY time we go to a store (still, I think it’s more fun that way.) This time last year, I believe I was having mini-breakdowns every other day about something wedding related - not excluding what the Mariachi Band would play. What a fantastic year we’ve had and I can’t wait for what the new year will bring for us.

We continue to wait for James’ 2nd round score at the ACT and his impending (fingers crossed) invitation to interview for the B.S./M.D. program at NEOUCOM. I start my new job next Tuesday at National City Bank (no, i won’t be a teller) I’ll be in the corporate commercial marketing department doing project management stuff, should be crazy busy, but I am soooooooo ready to have a job again (ask me in about a week if i still feel that way)

It’s a 5 week countdown to one of my best friend Kim’s wedding on November 3rd in the Vegas Temple, can’t wait!!! I think it’s going to be soo cool to celebrate our 1st anniversary in the temple witnessing another marriage! Not to mention we’re staying a couple extra days to “live it up” in Vegas mormon style. In case you’re wondering how a mormon would “live it up” in Vegas, just think Buffets and shows.

Along with my cousin and another best friend Sarah, we’re planning the 4th Bridal Shower this year that we’ll have put on! Crazy!!!!! Another roommate/best friend (pretty much if you’re my friend, you’re one of my best friends!) Jana is getting married Nov. 17th, it’s fun being a self-proclaimed wedding planner, ha ha.

Life is fun…
